New Hall Road which named after a street in my home town, is the start of my second forray into N-gauge model railways, though at the moment its just a 2-loop setup with a siding area and no storage yard.

Welcome to the forum. That’s a very good [and very fast] start you’ve made. Looking forward to your next update. R-
P.s. Good of your mutley to provide additional sound effects.

Looks like a good start.
Although my layout is 00 (mainly because I inherited quite a few 00 locks from my dad), I can see the advantage of N in allowing realistically long trains.
Did I count 13 behind the class 37?

Yep. A mix of minitrix and farish
however the 66 can't quite manage. But the 37 just trundled along with it all. I have another 5 coaches out of shot. Most rakes will be 8 or 9 cars when complete. Some more mk1s on order but not due yet
Tomorrow I'm going to have a Go at installing point motors

the deck area is on, covering the layout.
This gives a few ideas as to what the layout will look like. The lower part is going to be light industrial, the upper part will be the town area.
