Scratchbuilt birch trees

Hi!

I have not posted for a while on the forums, but I'm back now :)

I thought, I'd share my scratchbuilt birch trees and the build process. Any helpful comments are welcome.

I started with a few twigs:

and a bag of seafoam:

I spray painted them white and added the black bark pattern with a black pen.
Then I drilled small holes in the trunk and glued the seafoam on it:

Then spray glued and sprinkled Noch leaves (different shades) on the branches:

They look really good. Think I should have a go. Last time I made a tree it looked like somebody had stuck things to a twig, they had, it was me.

They look very good. It's amazing how many silver birch trees there are on railway embankments.
