Happy to keep RogerB company !

Hi all and RogerB !
Just thought it looked like RogerB was a little lonely in here so I thought I would pop in
My TT120 layout is underway, taking a while as I am a newbie to model railways and finding, despite some forward planning, that I am waiting on tools to help out newbs and having some teething issues to start.
I started in Mid January-ish and still am not much further than having the track down and points powered, but despite my usual impatience, I have decided this will take as long as it takes :)

Well done TT. My build has come to a stop partly due to illness following Covid [hopefully nearly sorted] and an impending house move. R-

Its been a while, and I still have more to do when I can find some time, but My "Millwood" layout is well underway.
It is set in late era 3, and with a swap of rolling stock early era 4.
The pics do make the colours look more lurid than they actually are !
Base layout:

Basic scenery and ballasting done:

The lift off section (where the tunnels run under) the stuff on here is all N scale to give a bit of forced perspective:

And several with all the buildings in place, still plenty to do:

As a beginner to all this this time last year, I know its not in the league of a lot on here, but I am pleased with how its going.

Oh ... and yes the Class 08 is out of Era, with the lack of small shunters in TT120, I bought 2, one to re-livery into a representation of the early J45/DES1 that were in period, and another to be done as era4 for when I run the early BR sessions.

Here are my repaints:

The J45/DES1 representation, less grimy as it would have been a lot newer !

If you’re a beginner I can’t imagine what your layout will look like when you get the hang of it. Excellent. 👍

Well done - that is very good indeed - something to be proud of. No need to rush, just add little bits here and there.
