Decoder for Janus loco

Please. could any one tell me what brand decoder they fitted to Oxford Janus loco. The direct fitting one's I have tried are to wide to fit in side the body. thank you David

The sound fitted versions have zimo MX 648 fitted which measure 20 x 11 x 4mm , zimo do several other non sound small micro decoders just check the dimensions.

When there was little space for a decoder with wired plug, I always found these to be a good fit

Not used any in a while but prices have gone up quite a bit since the last one I bought although they my be cheaper from another supplier, can't find the one I used to buy from, but it was close to 10 years ago, LaisDCC also do a direct fit one but theirs is quite a bit wider, I think Lenz also do a version.

Have a Bachmann 36-558A 6 pin decoder in mine fitted to a 6 pin socket- 8 pin plug lead

Thank you all for the replies. I managed to use a small Digitrax out of a different loco. David
