Hi,
Does anyone have any experience on using fishing weights to weigh down carriages /wagons
And if they do what size/weight have they found, and if so do you melt these down.
Thanks

Very little weight should be added to N gauge rolling stock, a small strip of lead ( roofing lead) can be attached to a coach, but the strain on the loco motor can be critical. A load in a wagon also helps. Why do you need to add weight?.

If you really need to add weight you would be best advised to used a product called ‘Liquid Gravity’ as you need very little and it does not react with most glues. Lead or lead shot can react and swell with PVA.
