In my search for goof-proof track, and having abandoned otherwise excellent Hornby set track, at no small expense, I hit upon easy to use, generally hard to louse up, Bachmann-EZ track. Regrettably, I did not count on the oversize flanges of my cherished old Triang and Hornby OO fouling the frogs on crossings, although they would traverse turnouts without complaint. So, with the help of a Dremel tool I ground out the frogs, and to my relief, the old Lord of the Isles made it through just fine, now. I'd really hate to shelve her as the Lord of Aisles. I haven't turned a wheel since January, so it was nice to run something and find the muse had not left, entirely.
