also TMC, Bure and Derails though short lived and nothing I want.

I got a couple of real bargains from Rails before Christmas, two wagons way below half price.

I find there are better offers from various sources during the year rather than in January. That’s when they tend mark down the stuff they’ve not shifted and is just taking up shelf space and capital.

That is definitely the case.

I've ordered a Class 45 from TMC from their sales offers; it's not arrived yet, but I'll post a photo when it does.

Retail sales have been very poor the last 6 mths, so dont hold your breath long, for any big sales.
