Hattons DCC Solenoid Point motor HAT-PM-01-D

I bought a group of these in the closing down sale. I'm at a loss how to install them!
Wiring instructions seem clear enough.
There is no long pin to go through the baseboard although instructions talk about cutting a pin to length.

I've taken photos of the instructions but haven't included them in case posting them infringes copyright. If told it's ok I will post them :-)

Can anyone enlighten me as to how they're installed?

That's what I thought - only 4 screws in a packet in the package.

I've looked again and there they are. I tube (I assume to attach to the short piece sticking out) and a pin.

In my defence, the plastic packet inside the package was wrapped by the one containing the screws and wasn't visible until I took out the packet a second time.
I've bought 10 of these so it is a relief that it's all there. Now for a lot of drilling 10mm holes or slots (it will be holes!)
