Re: Triang set.
Mine is similar but without the track Brian, i will try and find some track next job. Set was made in 1963 , super 4 was introduced in 1962 so must be ok.
Re: Triang set.
PM sent - I've a large amount. A mix of OK to terrible condition. Until the summer of 2023 there was 4 circuits and lot's of extra spare. The 4 circuits are in Ok condition. The others are more of a mix.
I'll see if I can dig out some photos! I've a new computer and they'll be on an old one!
There's a lot more track and photos but I'll avoid filling up the web space with them!

Re: Triang set.
Triang series 3 & Super 4 Differences.
Track Geometry:
Tri-ang Series 3: The Series 3 curves always had a fixed angle of 30 degrees.
Super 4: Super 4 and System 6 curves, on the other hand, have a 22.5-degree angle. This difference affects the layout design and how tracks fit together.
Radius:
Tri-ang Series 3: The first radius curves in Series 3 were smaller than those in Super 4.
Super 4: Super 4 offered a more generous radius, resulting in better-looking tracks and slightly closer double tracks.
Rail Section and Sleepers:
Tri-ang Series 3: Series 3 and Super 4 shared the same height, but Series 3 had a different rail section and fewer sleepers per inch.
Super 4: Super 4 used the track geometry that is still common today, with better rail quality and more reliable connections1.
Fishplates:
Tri-ang Series 3: The fishplates on Series 3 track were spot-welded.
Super 4: Super 4 introduced a different fishplate design, where the fishplates clipped into slots on the end of the rail2.
