Has anyone tried contacting this outlet?
I tried to buy from their stand at Ally Pally but they were out of stock. But the did offer to email a link so I could still buy online at the show price. No such email was received last week so I’ve been trying to reach them.
No email address.
The send message facility on the website doesn’t work.
They don’t answer the phone.
Only an answerphone message to leave a message - which they then don’t respond to.
Frustrating.

Strange indeed. The Contact Us link produces no options at all, as you have found out. Doesn’t look good does it? R-

After a week of trying I finally got through!
Unfortunately the ‘head honcho’ is now on holiday and no one else has access to the payment system.
But I’m on ‘the list’.

The promised link came through on Thursday and their NER ES1 is now on its way at £120 below list price.

To be fair, the team at Locomotion Models must have spent some time lately preparing for their display stand at the York Model Show which is on for 3 days this Easter weekend.

Frankly, if their 'interaction' is that bad when someone is trying to buy something from them, how good is it going to be if you have a problem with an item purchased from them?
If I had had the same experience as the OP, I'd have been looking elsewhere to take my custom.

I will happily cut them some slack for the combined delays resulting from two major show events and the Easter weekend.
As for taking my custom elsewhere, Locomotion Models are famed for 'exclusives' so not really an option. The 'show price' of £95 instead of £220 also buys quite a lot of patience.

Living not far from Shildon (to most other members) I have no need to use the 'contact' service.
I visit 'Locomotion' to see the exhibits, then look around the shop.
Mind'st you there never seems to be any 'bargains'. All full price.
