Hi
That style of automatic wire stripper is ideal to use.
I have the CK version and there others too.

These type of wire strippers are really good. They are specifically useful for "opening" up the insulation on bus wires to connect droppers. Couldn't do without them now. Highly recommended.

They are a fairly generic tool, mine are also identical and even with the blue handles i use them for almost all wire stripping, the only time i dont use them is for thin decoder wires and for that job I use these https://www.dccconcepts.com/product/fin ... -settable/ probably available from other suppliers for less.

never particularly liked the 'open out' or pull strippers... i get more control from these...

I prefer the Tinker/WTD type. I find I get less chopping off as opposed to the intended stripping with them. R-
Young at heart. Slightly older in other parts.

I use the Stanley 075068, 150 mm control grip strippers. Have had 2 pairs for 25 years. Never failed, never use anything else, superb
