Hi Steve
I've 'footplated' the MHR several times. You'll really enjoy the uphill bits - they're great

Hi Steve - nice present. Lets us know when your doing it, and I might get over there. It would be nice to meet up - albeit briefly - sounds like it could be a busy day. BB

I think it may be towards the second half of the year - I read that trains are not going through to Alton(?) until possibly late July......and I do like to get my money’s worth.
I am hoping to get down there for the Spring Gala as it coincides with my birthday if you are around.
I also have my annual F1 trip to Barcelona to sort out - it’s a little earlier than usual so I may get to do both trips for a change.

I just had a look at their site - TEMPORARY CHANGE - There will be no Mid Hants Railway trains operating to or from Alton station from January 11th until the end of July 2019 due to work being carried out as part of a large highway improvement scheme. We will still be running trains from Alresford to Medstead.

Hi
Looking forward to the spring gala, hopefully getting an update on Light Pacific Swanage and Urie S15 506 and 499 together with the other locos under repair and the bullied coaches rebuilds.
The blogs on the web site are not updated like they use to be.
The other reason the wagon group have announced their new wagon for this year which will be available in time for the gala.

Today at the Mid Hants.
Good to finally meet BB - hope you enjoyed the coffee.

It was good to meet you too Steve - an enjoyable morning, and the coffee was fine - thank you. Parking at Arlesford was awful, eventually someone left in Station Road just as I came round again. Resisted the temptation to spend any money in the shop. BB

I didn’t!
A Bachmann LMS 3F fell into my grubby little mitts - at least the guy who runs it classes me as a regular customer now.
You missed the rain as well - it was a bit soggy by the time I got there.

My trip on the MHR (Christmas present) was today - it rained.
