On going layout project in N scale , Making the most of a corner of the garage layout is approx 4 x 9 feet.
Double track mainline , will be a town scene set around 1956 with a stabling yard for helpers to tackle the Allegheny mountains.

Me neither. Sounds like a fascinating project, though. My great grandfather worked on the PRR for some forty years as a brake man. In those early years of railroading, American railroads, for reasons not entirely clear, never adopted the British method of buffers, but only used a link and pin affair. My lineage was very nearly ended when he got his head stuck between two wagons as the locomotive was reversing.

I shall try to sort out pic later on PC , don't know whats wrong I followed drag and drop with picture size reduced too !

Hi PRR, drag and drop is not an option on this forum. Some folk have managed to place pictures from their PC and some find it easier to use a hosting site such as Flickr and post the link. You do, in the latter instance, get an image on here as well.

At this time (30-12-18) there is a problem with images being uploaded directly to this forums hosting.
If you require images in your post it is recommended (Until the problem can be corrected) to use a free image hosting web site like Flickr and then copy and paste the images URL back here. Ensuring the image size is within forum page limits and doesn't cause page overflow issues.

Edit... Problem resolved and normal working resumed.

Worth the wait to see this creation, splendid work! My Great Grand Father, son of
Scotch immigrants, worked for about fifty years on the PRR. He started out as
a mule drover on the canal routes before the railroad was built.

Please do post more, I'd like to see!
