Track Design Software: SCARM

#1

Post by RudyB »

I once did a series of videos on SCARM. It is quite nice track design software, easy to use, once you have seen a couple of the basic principles. Back then it was free software, alas since some time it became paid software, unless you design a small layout with under 100 track items, then it is still free. It is not expensive though.

The videos can be found here.

I think 100 pieces is a fairly decent amount for a 'free' product given the limits on other track software Anyrail is 50 pieces and more expensive to download. It does benefit to use flex track for as much as possible as its a longer single piece
