Hello again

Hi everyone
I registered on the old forum a couple of days before it disappeared (thought it was something I said ). Brief history - I had a model railway growing up until we moved house and it never got rebuilt. After going through that bit in the teens and early twenties where you lose interest in such things, I started taking up old hobbies again (Lego, model kits and trains) after getting married and buying a house.
Mrs Born Too Late very kindly bought me a DCC train set a few years ago but didn't really have anywhere to permanently set it up, until recently that is. I knocked up some baseboards for me and the kids to play trains; it's still not permanent yet, we're just playing with track layouts and watching trains go round.
Got to say it's been very satisfying servicing some of my 30 year old locos and getting them back working properly! No doubt I'll have questions in the near future and hope to contribute my limited knowledge where I can.
Wes
