DCC Chip install Bachmann Class 24/1
Help Please just got the Bachmann class 24/1 and am trying to fit DCC chip but as hard as I try cant remove body from chassis instructions state gently remove body ???? feels like it still screwed on but have removed all six screws as per Instructions

Good idea with the pins. Others on here only tap the pin in enough to hold the track and then remove them after ballasting. Wish I’d thought of that, but anyway. Sorry for the late reply am now concerned as I have bought Cobalt ip Digital motors and have a Digitrax system I have not fitted yet as waiting for Peco to produce some RH points :( I will contact DCC Concepts and ask the question. Do you know if there is a problem if using a switch to control motor...

Thanks for the replies just been back to plan and put 3.12" (79mm) bits of cut track inbetween all crossover type points
