Re: Hornby: A model world TV series
Just caught up with the series, agree with some of the comments above, but overall it’s ok (just) and certainly not the best thing that Yesterday has done of late. Two comments, the voice over person is IMO appalling but worse of all who wants to build a railway upside down??

Re: Hunt couplings
I’ve just come across these, does anybody know if they are suitable on 2nd radius curves with a set of Bachman mark ones?

Sound functions
I have a couple of TTS equipped Hornby locos which according to the manual have various functions up to F20, my NCE Power Cab only seems to go up to F12 (and the display only to F6) any ideas how I can use the F13+ functions? and also display the ones above F6.
Thanks.
Thanks.

8 pin decoder
Hi
A 8 pin direct decoder has “blown” and needs replacing, I have somewhere an 8 pin harness decoder, can I use that to replace the other one. I have space in the loco tender to install it.
Many thanks for any advice

Re: Runaway Train!
Ok thanks, suspect it might be the wheels as I had cleaned the track in that area last week.

Runaway Train!
Yesterday I was moving stock from my main layout to the fiddle yard using two locomotives, the first ran perfectly but the second stalled it then restarted and ran at full speed (about 1/2 of the speed set on the controller) and would not respond to the controller, it was only by switching off at th...

Re: New Rails / Dapol OO terrier
I phoned Rails this week and was told that there had been a slight delay due to an issue with the PCB but they still should arrive soon, I hope so as it’s my Christmas present

Loco repair
I have a broken wire on a Hornby loco which needs replacing, it’s the connection between the engine and the tender, anybody know where I can get this done? I’m based in North West Kent.
Thanks
Thanks

Re: Direction problem with new decoder
I’ve changed the CV number by 1 and all now seems to be ok. Easier than having to take the tender to pieces to turn the decoder 180 degrees
