Thanks to all for the help, I have now managed it.

There are 6 lugs on the glazing which need to be tweaked carefully before the body can be eased off.

Mission accomplished. :D

Hornby R392 conversion.

Apologies if this question has been asked before, but can this loco be converted to DCC?
It has a Type 6 Ringfield motor that I have not seen before, with a wire to only one side of the brush contacts.
Any advice would be gratefully received.
