Low melt solder
I have two kits that require low melt solder. One is etched brass and the other is white metal. The only low melt solder I can find here in the US is 347F/175C from Amazon. I note that DCC Concepts has two low melt, one is 145 and the other is 100. What is best to use? Can I use the same for each ty...

Using the Bachmann Baldwin loco. on one stretch of track I am planning to use a girder bridge with the 009 portion, crossing over the 00 gauge track. What gauge bridge should I use? I would solder them together. Start with the 14 gauge from the transformer, then finish with the 18 gauge. I don't...

Re: Locomotive advice
I like the look of the Smallbrook kits. Where do you get the appropriate chassis? I am a novice when it comes to building loco kits.

Re: Locomotive advice
Among other items Dundas recommended Roco HO9 locomotives and rolling stock. Is anyone familiar with this brand, and any comments?

Locomotive advice
As part of my 00 gauge layout I plan to incorporate a narrow gauge 009 mine layout. What locomotive is recommended? I am open to a kit, but I am a novice in building a locomotive. I have been soldering a lot of wiring so can solder it together. Also what wagons are recommended? Thanks for your input...
