Airbrushing - getting the colours right
Following my birthday in July I have acquired a reasonable quality airbrush set up which I will start practicing using when the good weather passes and I have hopefully completed outdoor non model railway projects. One potential problem is that I am partly red/ green colour blind which means I tend ...

Etched brass steps Bachmann standard class 4 tank
About 3 years ago I bought a set of etched brass steps for a Bachmann Standard class 4 tank. Unfortunately I can't trace who supplied them. I have now acquired a second class 4 tank again needing steps. Despite much on line looking I can't find a source for suitable steps. I have acquired steps for ...

Front steps Hornby Q1

Re: NCE powercab and JMRI
I have already given all the points and signals a number to make full use of the powercab. It was a bit of a hassle but once done together with the setting up of the macros it does make the operation easier. I struggle to get my old brain around setting double slips in particular and doing it once t...

NCE powercab and JMRI
I run my terminus to fiddleyard layout with a powercab which controls locos, points and signals. I use macros to set routes Having a spare laptop which currently runs windows 10 but could equally run linux I have thought about running JMRI and acquiring the necessary NCE interface to link the laptop...

Macros
I control my small layout using a NCE PowerCab. I find one of the most useful features is macros but also find I am slightly limited by the maximum of 15 macros of limited length. If I were to want to have more / longer macros what would be a good system as I note some competitor systems do not ment...

New Rails / Dapol OO terrier
Things have gone awfully quiet notwithstanding talk of November and Warley a month ago. Is the release going to happen this weekend? When will despatch of the preorders start? Hopefully precedence will be given to those who paid their deposit!
