Bachmann Central Trains Class 170 3 Car DMU
Hi all,
I'm searching for a now increasingly hard to find 3 car central trains class 170.
Wondered if anyone has a set sat around that they'd be interested in selling?
Any condition accepted; used, new or otherwise.
Many thanks.

There seem quite a few on Ebay, eg https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/OO-Gauge-Bac ... e2d2ea50f3

Hey,
Thanks, I'm monitoring Ebay closely too. I'm after a central trains livery.

Hi,
Thanks yes, just getting in touch with them. But am I the only one that thinks £150 is a bit steep for a used unit?

That’s the sort of prices they charge.

As in that particular supplier or just in general now?
I'm returning to the hobby after 6 years or so out and surprised at the market value increases and the RRP on new releases. I appreciate DCC and Sound adds value but even a new 2 car DMU that is only DCC ready is RRP at £120 from Hornby now?!

The main factors are increasing wages in China and a weak pound causing imports to cost more.

So long as people are prepared to pay those prices there will be someone to sell to them. Anything is worth whatever someone is prepared to pay.

Are people prepared to pay the new prices?
I'm reluctant when a DMU that was retailing at circa £80 a few years back is now more like £220.00?
On a lighter note I picked up the titled loco I was after at an auction last weekend so all good!
