Helping Hand tool
Got a helping hand with magnifying glass, should I heat shrink the clip jaws to protect the wires?

Re: Helping Hand tool
The croc clip jaws will damage wire insulation. I use small peg like sprung clamps with plastic jaws and just clamp them in the croc jaws. These clamps can be bought for about £1 for a card of 10. Loads of jobs can be helped for the modeller.

No problem Roger. Notice I removed the magnifier glass from mine as I prefer to wear head magnifier or a desk mounted illuminated magnifier for the "big" jobs.
