Diesels to Glenburnie Station
Re: Diesels to Glenburnie Station
A few things added to the Scrap Yard.
Agnes Marston is off to the shops and taking her dog for a walk.
Locomotive number 2859 has been preserved by the Llangollen Railway, so it must be 2870 at Charlie Marston's Yard.
Is that a prospective buyer for 2870 talking to Charlie Marston?
Meanwhile the wheel on the wagon is still causing problems.

As they were posted about 8 minutes before the scheduled time when the forum was taken off line, I suspect they were not present when a backup copy was taken just before 11:00 and then that copy reused to restore the forum after its down time.

Re: Diesels to Glenburnie Station
I was wondering what to put between the level crossing at A Vinnerd's garage and 'The Bridge'.
I came across the Coach and Horses Inn building whist on my travels.
Here it now sits to the left of the level crossing.
As the area had to be relatively flat for access to the fiddle yard and my Grandson (number 3) to operate, the area was grassed and fenced.
and the fence painted.

A view from the new grassland and bridge looking at the fiddle yard.
Depending how I feel (and which grandchildren are here) the fiddle yard is north and south of Glenburnie on diesel days.
North and south of Leeds Sovereign Street on steam running days.
or Lybster Station. (Glencairn Estate is about three miles away from Lybster.) When running trains to Lybster, Sovereign Street becomes the fiddle yard.
