Track dimensions
Do N gauge tracks from different manufacturers have the same actual distance between the rails, i.e. would Graham Farish locos and rolling stock run smoothly on Fleischmann Piccolo track. Thanks.

Re: Track dimensions
The distance between the rails is the same but the rail height may be different. I only say may be, as I do OO gauge. I am not used to N. I have used N gauge years ago but only for one layout. I used Peco track then and I would recommend Peco now. Best to keep to one to be on the safe side.

Re: Track dimensions
They'll run. I have used in my time Peco code 80, Fleischmann and Kato track. I run Graham Farish-Poole, Graham Farish-modern, Minitrix, Fleischmann, Arnold, Dapol, Union Mills, Kato, Tomix Union Mills and other makes of locomotives and stock and find that very occasionally I need to adjust the back to back measurement on an axle in order to ensure trouble-free running.
