Cleaning out the garage and came across 14 copies of Ian Allan's Modern Railway dated from Jan 1963 to June 1964 with some gaps, when Beeching was chair of the Board. Brilliant articles such as why BR experimented with Diesel Hydraulics in the WR, the controversy over the supposed 124 mph run by a King class, Plenty of timetable runs comparing steam and diesel.
Happy to give them away if you pay postage- Here's the problem- I am in Australia
