Hello I’m Stu, I have looked in on the forum a few times now but thought it was time to join. I have a couple of DMUs, a Heljan class 128 in BR blue with yellow ends and the same DMU in red and yellow.
I am looking forward to taking part in some of the forum discussions.

Welcome. I like the older DMU's myself. They look nice and I've had many memories of the occasional ride in them when I was younger. This area of the countey was known as the "Dumping ground" where all the older B.R. stock ended up with the last few years of life before they were withdrawn. Hence at one time, this area became a railway enthusiasts dream! I remember watching various different trains of mixed wagons, vans, brake vans and other things coming through. Some odd coaches and other things were up to 60 years old. Up to the mid 1980's and a little beyone that we still had unfitted coal wagons as standard often pulled by triple headed cut down class 03's.
