Given to me by a friend, any ideas? It is well built, metal chassis but no markings
In the family from the 1960's British Railways, Triang and still a reasonable runner
Thanks in advance, PB
Ideas on these locos?
Re: Ideas on these locos?
The first one looks like this, although slightly different colourings/markings :https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Dapol-C062-2 ... 2578336061
The second one looks remarkably like this one ; https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TRIANG-00-ga ... SwIqpeL0SS
I could be totally wrong though!

I think that you are correct WTD on the first one - the Dalpol kit is slightly different, the Tri-ang one is almost identical except for the added crew.

Second one is the Triang L1 4-4-0 (R350) from 1960. I have a few of these.
LC&DR says South for Sunshine
Re: Ideas on these locos?
I like to do an information sheet on all the locos I have. I have been checking out here for more ideas http://www.gwr.org.uk/no-prairies.html
The GWR 61XX Prairie Tank has an interesting livery, any ideas?
Thanks for all the replies and information. PB
