Her itinerary has been changed, instead of going to Singapore and Hong Kong she will be cruising Australia to avoid the corona virus.
Two pics of her, one of her docked and the other of her sailing out into the sunset this evening.

Lovely pictures, Puddles.

Been on her half a dozen times - Transatlantic, Caribbean and World cruises. One of our favourite ships.

Another cruise ship has docked in Fremantle today. It has also come here to avoid the ports wich have the corona virus.l will try and get her name.
The local economy is getting a well earned boost as the rumours are that many ships are rescheduling itineraries and there are more to come. They normally only get one or two per season so there are some very happy traders here.
Mind you, you could only be happy if you lived here it’s an amazing place.

When ever we go away we always dread seeing a cruise ship, generally means too many people on shore. More than one shop is even worse.

A couple of years ago we cruised the Adriatic and when we got to Venice there were another 5 cruise ships there. At one point it took us 30 minutes to cross one of the small bridges. As we'd spent a few days there a couple of years earlier we gave up and returned to our ship.

That is one of the reasons why we will not go on one of the big ships (2000 passengers plus). We much prefer the 'Adults only' ships

I met some people in Perth today who were on the cruise ship that has docked in Fremantle, the cruise has now been completely cancelled, they will be staying in a hotel tonight and flying home from Perth airport tomorrow.
They were really disappointed that they will not get to see Singapore and Hong Kong. The situation with the Corona virus must be costing the cruise operators a small fortune at the moment, A relative of mine is on a cruise at the moment and told me there is more crew than passengers on his ship at the moment.

We have just been receiving information from Companies of their World Voyages by some of their ships for 2021.

Once arriving in Australia ships will be visiting various ports in that country before heading west. None (we have received)are visiting Japan, Hong Kong, China or Viet Nam.

I would expect to see some pictures when the ships arrive in Fremantle, from Puddles. :)

I, for one, cannot understand why anyone would ever subject themselves voluntarily to the modern 'cruise experience'.
