Hi Glencairn, yes, the four-wheel coaches are cute. They work well on my quite small roundy-roundy layout, which only has very short straight stretches of track, and includes first and second radius curves. I remember commenting in an earlier post about the over-hang that the longer eight-wheel coaches have. Obviously, the eight-wheelers look great on a layout with more straight or gently curved track. Having said that, I'm happy to run the long ones on my two third radius circuits, especially when the Flying Scotsman is doing the pulling.
