Great fun, thank you.

Only thing missing was the rain (Ancient British Joke!)

Alas, my plans for a UK tour this summer have been dashed. Next year, maybe?

Hopefully things will eventually get back to normal so you can come over. All I can say is that there are so many conflicting rules and regulations that no one really knows what is going on, so it maybe wize to wait until next year. Is sad because the weather has been so lovely.

Looks like travel plans nixed for this year. I continue to read up on British history, having worked
my way from “Doggerland,” through the Stone Age, the Bronze Age, the Iron Age, British Romano
history, and slowly into the nebulous “Dark Ages,” which might be not so dark as reported. Maybe by next
year I shall have some notion of the Saxon period. So much I want to see with my own eyes. I wonder if
it might be better to take a year, or two, off and do a traveling sabbatical.

Seems like York is one epicenter of all this history, work my way out from there. I’d rather like to walk
the Hebrides whilst at it. Amazing what a durable people thrived there. If the stones could talk.
