Bachmann points

Hello,
For my new layout, I'm thinking of using Bachmann points 36-872 and 36-873. As usual, before making a lot of mistakes, could you give me a few advices ? Thank you.

As far as I know, they have the same geometry as Hornby points but as the description says, these are non isolating. This means they would work OK on DCC layouts but not the best choice for dc.
