Aren’t there some powered bogies from Japan(?) that would do the job? Tenshodo or BlackBeetle are names lurking in my memory.

Been after a Green Hymek for a while to add to my other Hydraulic Diesels and spotted what looked a reasonable buy at "The Locoshed" in Manchester...….never bought from them before, but the price, spec and condition met my criteria and so I placed an order on late Sunday evening.
Was pleasantly surprised when 1st class Royal Mail delivery rang the doorbell this morning and D7093 was delivered...…….well wrapped and in pristine conditions with everything intact and details pack etc un-opened...…….fitted an 8 pin decoder this evening and she ran like a dream and not once missed a beat...…..only slight negative is the rear running lights work but are not great, however that is pretty typical for Heljan diesels.
After a period of light running, I felt it only appropriate the reunite the loco with some Chocolate and Cream Western region coaches...…...very happy with purchase and for sure would consider visiting "The Locoshed" again.
Cheers Richard

Looking good on your layout, Richard. It seems a purchase well made.
