Really good supplement in this months magazine about modelling the Southern Region if you are modelling that region.

I agree - the downside is that it showed a few loco's not in my "southern" collection.

Not in your southern collection yet Barry :)

I like the train formation section. I wish they would publish them in a supplement.

Agree WTD, but I have a nagging feeling that they did do one a while ago. Will have to check when I get home.

I did write and suggest it to them but they said they had no plan to do so at present.

I think the "train formation" lists do appear periodically - normally when there is an article about a particular period or region. In the past some magazines used to print an index which would help you find something in back issues. I did buy a folder with clear pocket pages, and I do keep articles that might be useful in the future.

I suggested they put them all together in a supplement. Maybe they will some time.

I'm sure with some background information (LC&DR?) and covering all regions, a supplement would be very useful - similar to the "weathering" and "landscaping" supplements that seem to appear fairly regularly.

Hi

Great supplement, little misleading when I saw it, thought it would cover Southern Rail not BR Southern Rail.

The train formations will be useful changing BR green with SR Greens etc and SR period coaches for BR coaches.

Still its a good read.
