Wykeham - Somewhere in the south!
Re: Wykeham - Somewhere in the south!
Looks and sounds really good Barry. Definitely deeper in tone than the small sugar cube I used (all I had to hand).
Shows off the layout really well.

That looks fantastic Barry. Your layout is amazing. I guess just for a few minutes it was a heritage railway.

Thanks Steve and Brian. Heritage - yes for two minutes and two minutes only! The loco really does need lights to finish it off - there is a "kit" available on ebay, which I might get. There was loads of room for the speaker - I could have got about four in the space available, and if only carriage bodies came off as easily as this Class 66. I'll leave it on the layout for a few days - the grand kids thinks it's great - it's just so brightly coloured - now the Hornby Class 66 "Evening Star" is a more subtle green - but luckily no longer available!! The TTS sound probably applies itself better to diesels than steam loco's - I might get one for a Merchant Navy and see if there is a better speaker - another job for the growing list!

Love your pub and pavement. The figures are great too - very nicely painted. It all looks so right.

I had a few minutes to hand, so decided to landscape the bare board in front of my control desk. A bit of fencing, some scatter and a few Woodland Scenics bushes and all done. I'm not sure whether to add horses or cows?

I agree - it looks fantastic. Well done. R-
Young at heart. Slightly older in other parts.
