Dapol Junction Bracket

Just bought and installed 2 Dapol motorised junction signals. Great looking bit of kit. One however has an LED which doesn't work. Spoke to Dapol and they were less than helpful, so I intend to return it even though I am in Australia.
My question is how do you un-install it. The base clicks on to the signal stalk and once in is not readily accessible. Do you just pull it off? Any ideas before I try and probably ruin it?

Always was impatient- Yes it just pulls off. Not sure I want to attempt to change the LED
