Some has already posted on Youtube - but this went past the end of my road this morning - looked very smart indeed.

Fabulous... I was lucky enough ( to be old enough) to ride on it when new. Saved the pennies up from the paper round and had several rides to London on saturdays. First Class only and silver service by posh waiters, and as much coffee as could be drunk.
Wish it was the 'real' Blue Pullman with 1000HP engines at each end and Schirffen ( sorry its spelt wrong) bogies- it went like a bat out of hell over the points just outside Birmingham........
Cant wait .....

..... Just a thought crosses my mind that it MAY have been mon-Fri only with a 'Western hauled coaching stock service on Saturday with a nominal 'train' on a sunday. Think I may have had days off school when it was new...
