Dapol Signal - Cobalt ip operated.

This was discussed on the old forum, but I cannot remember the answer and whether I wired everything correctly.

The Dapol signal shown in the picture is operated by the Cobalt iP Point motor - the point is just inside the tunnel portal. When powered independently the signal can be operated by touching the two yellow wires together and the signal changes every time. When wired through the Cobalt it operates every other time.
Is this due to the point motors slow operation - I recall the signals yellow wires are connected to terminals 7 & 8 on the Cobalt.

I just found the answer

The answer if anyone wants to know is....
On Analogue ip... One signal yellow wire in C = 7 the other yellow in 8 and link 8 to 9 (Can also be on the analogue ip C = 6 and 4 & 5 linked). :D

What about digital iP? Or did you mean "digital" in the first part of your answer?

The ip Digital has one set of independent change-over contacts and on that motor it would be Common = 6 and 4 & 5 linked for the Dapol signal. (Connections 7, 8 & 9 are for use with panel push button / switch operation of the Digital motor).

Thanks Brian - I'll see if I can get to it, and check the wiring out. Barry
