The new Montfort's shunting layout
The new Montfort's shunting layout
Hello Happy Taxpayers,
My first shunting layout has been dismantled. So I use the baseboard to build this new one.
I found the idea in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kidnfPCNrU8
I have enought room for more track and points.
And now, fire at will !

Hi
Head shunt at far end (Left in top pic) looks rather short? If it is it may be worth moving the two points to the right a little more??

This head shunt is only for one loco or one wagon.

You are enjoying your little layouts Montfort. You have made a few I think. How many do you have?

Not a lot actually. I always disassembled one layout to build another one. I'm not a "one layout guy" if you see what I mean. I like to read topics about big layouts but that's not my style. At the moment I have my shunting layout and my big orange pizza. That's all.

I built a little loco shed. I used empty cereal boxes and a cheap printer.
