Picked these up in a Charity Shop, planning on adding sound to my layout
Background Sounds
Re: Background Sounds
Wiped an old iPod and am adding selective sound tracks to it, especially some steam yard background noise. Works well
Re: Background Sounds
Sounds Good (Pun intended!)
I can recall form many years ago Tri-Ang Hornby released a loco / train sound album on either an EP or LP record. Was the "in thing" to have that playing when running trains

Re: Background Sounds
I have an Amazon Echo in the train room. If I ask it to play ambient steam railway sounds it does just that. Clanking wagons, the occasional whistle and chuffing sounds etc.
Nurse, the screens!
Re: Background Sounds
I bought a couple of MP4 sound cards on eBay for a couple of quid. They play sound files stored on micro SD cards. Sound files are available free from the BBC sound archive and I now have bleating sheep on a hillside and waves and seagulls in the harbour.
