Peco electro frog points.

I have been looking for a few Peco E/frog points this afternoon, but there seems to be shortages all over. Or am I looking in the wrong places.

There is a shortage. I understand Peco manufacturing shut down in the first lockdown and really hasn't caught up since.
Its a matter of hunting down (Smaller?) retailers who may have some stocks left until Peco come back up to full production/distribution.

TMC have a few depending on what you want. I got the last short radius insulfrog from my local model shop two weeks before Christmas and the proprietor said no others were due in the foreseeable.

Indeed but what if something remains out of stock. Hattons have might take pre-orders and can they actually fulfil the order? In the case of some recent Hornby items it seems not with them having received less of an item than they have taken preorders for.

As far as I understand it, they'll fulfil the pre-orders in order they were received, and if they run out it will get fulfilled woth stock from the next batch.

I'm also under the impression they are just being sent anything peco have made rather than to order
