Re: Peco Setrack curved points
Pecos logic probably is that the the length would need special sized setrack curves to fit into a setrack layout so lets leave the rail joiners off and call it Streamline. Think it would be useful if they did a 3rd/4th radii one.
Re: Peco Setrack curved points
Is wrote to the Peco Technical Bureau asking when the new SL curved points would be available and they have replied that it should be towards the end of the year. However they didn’t answer my other questions: whether the new points would address the issues of the existing setrack curved points and whether larger radius curved points for streamline, somewhere between the Setrack and existing large radius streamline points, wouldn’t be more useful. If the new curved points are the same radius as the existing Setrack points I wonder why they are taking so long in ‘development’ and whether they are essentially going to be modified Setrack in different packaging. Or am I being a cynic?

Are these new Streamline curved points shorter than the current SL versions.

Re: Peco Setrack curved points
I had two curved SL points on my layout and they caused no problems with anything.
The set track version are hopeless.

Avoiding the Setrack curved points this is how I’ve had to lay out the end of the storage yard.
