Possible not the right place on the forum to ask but can you insert a clickable link into text rather than simply quoting a link?

Yes you can. Look at the row of icons above the reply box and click what looks like a two link chain (or handcuffs) and place your copied url between the two url symbols. Needs some precision on a tablet. Looks like this when done. https://cpc.farnell.com/ R-

Well done to FB and gang for getting things up and running again. I'm curious as to why the site went down in the first place though.

Shame the old threads have gone but I do understand that it would be a huge task to upload everything again (even if able). So much value was gained by myself and others; tips, do's and don'ts, experience sharing etc. My own latest project, started late last year, itself bought many kind words from members that I actually felt proud to be sharing it with everyone.

I have to now rely on memory or ask questions again, which I suppose itself won't be a problem as others will also gain from it.
