Simple figure painting.

#1

Post by Pannier Tank »

I have been painting up a figure to add to Shelby Wood Sidings using a simple paint wash technique.

These pictures show the basic colour and then the same figure after a colour wash.

All paints and varnish are acrylic.

In this case I mixed 25% Wolf Grey with 75% white for the basic uniform Bluey Grey colour. Once the paint was thoroughly dry I mixed 10% Wolf Grey to 90% matt varnish and ran this over the uniform.

These pictures show the figure before the final picking out of high lights, using the original colour mix, is applied.

Once again brilliant work. Thanks for showing us how to do it.
