I am already there. Lot of people complain about wet weather. I live in the Chihuahuan Desert. I do not.

Thank you HD for your comment. Much appreciated.

A family member is having a 'clear out' and came across his old model railway packed in a large box. He is no longer interested in Model Railways so asked me if I wanted the items.

The box duly arrived and I have been looking through what there is. A lot is not worth saving - old rusty track and the like. In fact most of the carriages and trucks were pretty 'beat up'; candidates for the scrap yard.

A small number of incidental items I know I can 'do up' and put on the layout.

Then at the bottom, like finding needles in a haystack, wrapped in paper, three beautiful carriages in 'blood and custard' color. They were not in boxes, but they look brand new.

Yes, most of the items went in the trash, but well worth the search through.

The three carriages.

You just cannot beat Blood & Custard or Chocolate & Cream coaches with a Green or Maroon Diesel...... These look great, especially with a nice Deltic at the front.

I don't know about chocolate and cream.

Seriously, I was toying with buying some 'blood and custard' coaches. These look straight out of the box.

I asked the family member about them. He said they belonged to his brother; who took a model of 'Flying Scotsman' in exchange. I prefer the coaches. :D

Thanks BB.

They look too nice to 'weather'. Maybe at a later date.

Weather? Heavens no, they are a very nice trifecta. Just noticed the abandoned spur for the first
time, very nice touch.
