I purchased these two units after scrutinizing Sam's Trains Review (sorry, but that fellow is an invaluable asset to me). It is unseemly to gush, but gush I shall. Every now and then, something comes along to alert me that there is a Divine Spark in the ascent of man. We are not descended from fish, or sea scum, but rather from a Creator who placed in us, and more in others than some, an ability to achieve something wonderful and miraculous. The T9, the Peckett, and the 3 axle coach rake has left me simply gobsmacked. No more words, see for yourself.
Hornby T9 & Peckett, judge for yourself.

Great stuff! Everyone seems to rave about the Pecket. If I didn’t have too many 0-4-0 locos already I would get one. Probably going to get a couple of those coaches though.

I had the Hornby one. It was a little beauty. Without any doubt one of my favourites. Got a Minerva one now.

I've got the Hornby one too. Great little loco, pulls six coal wagons up a fairly steep incline no bother. Kept it on DC on a separate shuttle line.
