Looks like something out of my old Eagle comics of the 50’s. Anyone remember Dan Dare and the Mekon?

And a yes from me. I always remember the double page centre spread, which on one occasion had an exploded diagram of the Channel Tunnel - this was something that one day may happen - well it did.

Yes definitely Eagle like TD &WtD and yes BB I do remember the centre spread which shared the space with “Luck of the Legion”! They did a spread on the R&JH Ray Tug ether Stackgarth or Thorngarth, I started off in Tugs so remember that one well.

Cheers, Dave.

Got one, Had it for years.

The Atomic loco illustration looks remarkably like a Norfolk & Western Class J 4-8-4 with the driver and assistant sitting in the smokebox !

In the one Eagle Annual I had there was an article on Railway Modelling, it covered trees, buildings, barrels and other stuff to go on a station. Anyone else remember that article?
Didn’t have a railway but my frend had a Scalextric and I made a control tower for that from the Eagle.
It would be nice to see that article again, probably written by someone well known in the modelling world of the 50's.
