Very good. An acquaintance of mine was telling me that there are camels in OZ. Sounds weird enough to be true. Have you ever seen any? R-

Yes there are. Ideal as the middle of Australia is desert.

They were deported there in the 1700s as criminals. There crimes included spitting in public and always having the hump.

It's OK. I knew about the desert bit just not the camels. The person who told me was doing that train trip across the middle and said there was nothing to see except camels. I have to confess I was sure it was a wind up, but forgot about it until I saw your mates sign.

I've heard there are more camels in Australia than there are in Africa and Asia.
Anyone who can confirm or deny?
