Two minds think alike, I was just going to mention fuse wire.Walkingthedog wrote: ↑Fri Sep 10, 2021 11:54 am I used to leave a length of fuse wire in the tube Brian. Seemed to work.

Hmm. That's a great idea... Anyone got suitable any sized Fuse Wire? Rewireable fuses went out with the Ark in around 1995/1990!
But unfortunately it doesn't help with a 98% full Revell bottle and a blocked metal delivery tube!
How can the tube be cleared? Is there a liquid solvent that the tube can be soaked in? Fuse wire is too soft and I have no other more solid means of poking out the blockage, as the delivery tubes internal diameter is tiny!
Perhaps this is a ploy by the manufacturer to make you buy more glue! So far they have succeeded!

Re: Best glue
Warm the tube with a candle. Use the wire in the centre of food bag twist ties.

Re: Best glue
The single core wire as used in 4-way twisted pair telephone extension wire (as recently discussed n a different thread) is the perfect size for clearing the tube (after removing the insulation).Brian wrote: ↑Fri Sep 10, 2021 6:41 pm Hmm.
