A few more Electrotren bits. The peculiar loads make it interesting. The wagon with tractors caught my attention as it has an almost Soviet appearance to it, brings to mind, "Tractors on the Five Year Plan!"

Lilla is the toast, Zeno. Reminds me a bit of a trip back in about '76 we took on a Welsh narrow gauge tourist line. What scale are we looking at here? Looks to be large, but cannot reference it.

It looks to me like SM32 Chops which runs on 32mm gauge as that type of coupling is more widely used on SM32. It could be running on 45mm gauge as some prefer to run on G scale track. Either way it looks nice.

Going to be running her on sm32 track
Have no room for an indoor layout so making an outdoor one.

After cleaning track in both SM32 and G scale forms for electric models to run on, I have to say that SM32 is noticably easier and quicker to keep clean. It is also cheaper to buy as well. I prefer SM32 and the metalic chunkiness of it, especially in live steam form is more attractive then G scale is as to me G scale models tend to be far too plasticky which is more noticeable in the larger scale. Of course I am generalizing... I am considering 0-16.5 in the garden but I need to ensure that they don't catch the wind... Though the area I am considering is partly sheltered so it may work out well.... But it is just a thought... I was actually cleaning an old 00 gauge garden railway foundation which never actually was built as I only got so far due to funds and other things happening at the time. It has not been touched for aroud 30 years! I may actually do a bit more but in 7mm NG form instead.

Ever since I saw this British Rail advert, and found out that a OO model was made, I had to have one. Several years of luckless searching later, I posted an inquiry under "Wanted" in this forum, and within an hour some kind fellow directed me to two. Seller says it runs well enough, and hope it does, it has been a very, very long time in the coming.

Well worth the wait and it looks in good condition, Park it in a siding and wait for a speeding train to pass then pounce.
