Bristol F2B fighter

Post by Davreb05 »

I have just finished watching the tv show about Hornby on
the yesterday channel.
The programme followed the production of the Bristol f2b fighter.
At the end of the programme the fighter was revealed, but it had
4 propeller blades, where as both the real aircraft that photos
and scans were taken of only had 2 propeller blades.
Have Hornby made a big mistake of have I missed something.
David.

The 4 blade was best for climbing and the 2 blade for speed. The prop type depended on where the aircraft was based, e.g. France or Africa, and the type of engine. So no mistake.
